All I ask is a pair of flannel pajamas and a mechanical keyboard to type with!
Comfort writing is the secret of my success. Flannel, the perfect medium. Pajamas allow me to relax and let my heavenly muse flow. Though one might believe that writing pajamas are a mere extravagance, there is a method to my comfy contentment.
I write, not through careful outlining (though I sometimes outline), nor through adhering to conventional rules of plot development, but rather I allow the story to flow through me onto the page without a lot of thought. Simply put, I write by inspiration.
My outlines consist of a lot of sticky notes covering a wall, with pictures that illustrate different milestones I want to reach, but what lies between those colored paper squares is anyone's guess. I like it that way, for as much as you, I enjoy a good story, and I like to be surprised and marvel at the twists and turns the narrative takes as I journey with Brenzel and her friends toward her destiny.
Lastly, I want to give glory to God and His son, Jesus Christ. He is ultimately the author of the Seraph Hunter series, and I the His scribe. Though it may seem odd to say, I literally write down what I hear and the words appear as I go. It is important to me to let everyone know that it is our Lord who is the true Bard of this amazing series of seraph adventures.
